Disclaimer & Methodology

Our disclaimer, in plain words

Dream interpretations on this site are cultural and psychological reference material. They describe how different traditions have historically read dream symbols; they are not predictions, and there is no scientific evidence that dreams foretell events. Nothing here is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and no content should inform gambling or betting. If a dream relates to your health or persistent distress, please consult a qualified professional.

Where the readings come from

Each symbol is interpreted through up to five lenses. Psychological: based on the analytic tradition of Freud and Jung and modern dream research; deliberately carries no fortune badge. East Asian tradition: readings passed down in Korean and Chinese households, including taemong conception dreams and the gilmong/hyungmong distinction. Western folk: meanings recorded in European and American folk dream books. Islamic tradition: the interpretive lineage associated with classical scholars such as Ibn Sirin, presented respectfully and without religious rulings. Spiritual: non-denominational reflective readings.

Our editorial rules

We write all content ourselves from published traditions and literature; we do not copy other websites. We mark fortune (auspicious/ominous/neutral/mixed) per tradition rather than issuing verdicts. We exclude lottery numbers, gambling prompts and definitive medical claims everywhere. Each entry shows its last-updated date, and every page links a correction form — errors reported by readers are reviewed by editors.
