What we collect — and what we deliberately don't

We run this service with data minimization as a design rule. We do not require accounts. Your dream journal never leaves your browser: entries are stored in localStorage on your device and are not transmitted to us.

The only personal data we may receive is what you optionally type into the contact form (name, email). Symbol requests and feedback are stored anonymously. Search queries are logged without any identifier to improve the dictionary (for example, finding words with no results). IP addresses are used transiently for rate limiting and stored only as irreversible hashes.

Cookies

Essential cookies remember your language and, if you use them, an anonymous feedback token. Analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense) cookies load only after you consent, and consent can be changed any time in Cookie Settings. Where these third-party services process data, their own policies apply.

Retention & your rights

Contact messages are kept up to one year; anonymous search logs up to 180 days; feedback up to one year. Since we hold no account data about you, deletion requests mainly concern contact messages — write to us via the contact form and we will remove them. Journal data is deleted by you at any time via the journal's data management screen.

Children

The service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect children's data.
